Information pursuant to § 18(1) MStV / § 5 DDG

The operative obligation to publish this notice follows from § 18(1) MStV (Medienstaatsvertrag), which applies to all telemedia not used exclusively for personal or family purposes. § 5 DDG (Digitale-Dienste-Gesetz, in force since 14 May 2024, replacing the former § 5 TMG) is cited for completeness; it applies to digital services offered on a commercial basis, which this personal hobby project is not.

The § 18(1) MStV obligation to provide name and address is satisfied above. § 18(2) MStV — which designates a Verantwortlicher for journalistic-editorial content that reproduces periodicals — does not apply to this site.

About this site

FindThatRecipe.eu is a personal hobby project. It is not a commercial offering, I do not sell anything, and I do not earn revenue from it. The site indexes recipes from cookbooks I own; no content is user-submitted. Recipes and book data are curated by me from physical sources I possess.

Online dispute resolution

The European Commission provides a platform for online dispute resolution at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. I am not obliged or willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board, as I do not offer goods or services to consumers in a commercial capacity.

Liability for content

The content of this site is prepared with care. However, I assume no liability for the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of information provided. I am responsible for my own content as a service provider under general German law (in particular § 823 BGB). This site is not a hosting provider within the meaning of § 7 DDG / the Digital Services Act (Reg. (EU) 2022/2065); linked external pages are the responsibility of their respective providers.
